My life has been dedicated to elite physical performance and getting people to perform their best in any age category. I have 23 years of experience in both Olympic weightlifting and strength & conditioning. I am a former Junior, U-23, and University National Champion. I trained and competed at the Olympic training centers in Colorado Springs, Park City Utah, Lake Placid NY, Calgary Canada, and Marquette, Michigan for Olympic weightlifting, and Competitive Bobsled.
I am the former head coach at the Olympic Education Center at Northern Michigan University, where I coached 16 International level competitors, including World Medalists and American Record holders. I also coached athletes to over 70 national event medals and am a designated Senior International Coach by USA Weightlifting. I have been Team USA coach for the Junior Pan-American Championships, 3 World University Games, the 210 Challenge in Switzerland, and multiple coaching roles at the Pan-American Championships, World Championships, and Team USA camps. I currently coach the American Record holder in the female 59kg class and am head weightlifting coach at a college in South Georgia. In addition, I coach many competitive weightlifters from all over the United States.
In addition to athletics, I am the program coordinator and faculty professor for the Sport and Exercise Science program. I do strength and conditioning and nutrition consultations with both collegiate athletes and the general population. And have a PhD-ABD in Health and Human Performance from Concordia University Chicago. My expertise goes beyond strength training to sports pharmacology, exercise physiology, physique training, nutrition, health, and cardiovascular training. I believe in long-term holistic diet and exercise planning to improve health and physique and develop lifelong sustainable habits.
